Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

Recognize the signs and symptoms of heart attack and cardiac arrest.

Identify risk factors contributing to cardiac arrest and methods of prevention.

Perform adult one-rescuer CPR effectively, including chest compressions and ventilations.

Operate an AED safely and correctly in accordance with voice prompts and safety guidelines.

Understand the importance of early defibrillation and its role in survival outcomes.
-
Respond confidently to emergency situations using the DRSABC action sequence.
-
Apply CPR and AED procedures in special environments or confined spaces.

Follow appropriate post-incident procedures after AED usage, including reporting and maintenance.

2. Chapter 2 – Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

3. Chapter 3 – Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
